Patrick Viry, an electrical engineering graduate, began his career automating bottling plants. After 8 exciting years, which enabled him to discover France's wine-growing regions, he switched from wine to cooking when he joined Schmidt Groupe in 2008. He supports the group in the construction, renovation and maintenance of highly automated production lines. The company's highly digital production concept enables it to produce more than 5,000 pieces of furniture per unit per day, with a level of automation on a production line. In 2020, the transformation division was created within the company's teams to implement the breakthroughs that will enable the company to meet not only its development needs, but also the challenges of CSR. The family-owned company, recently BCorp certified, will be relying on digital technology to meet these needs.
