AI to meet the challenges of decarbonisation
Description
This round table will highlight the role of artificial intelligence in the deployment of decarbonization and circular economy strategies. Discover its key role in optimizing energy consumption and industrializing recycling.
In just a few years, the energy sector has changed dramatically, driven by four key trends: decarbonization, sovereignty issues, decentralization and, of course, digitalization. The spread of smart meters, sensors, smart grids and connected objects (...) has increased the amount of data available, opening up new opportunities thanks to analysis and prediction algorithms.
In this context, the use of artificial intelligence is essential to optimize and control energy production. Energy producers have long been using predictive models to adjust production in line with demand. Today, manufacturers face two major challenges: anticipating needs and adapting in real time. To meet these challenges, artificial intelligence can play a key role in optimizing energy systems on several scales, from production to consumption, including storage.
This sequence will also focus on the role of AI in the deployment of a circular economy. It will illustrate the contribution of these new technologies to material traceability, optimized deposit characterization, robotized sorting and optimized material recycling.
A one-hour round-table discussion during which the speakers will share their approaches and experiences, before taking questions from the audience.
