Professor Hichem Snoussi holds an engineering degree from Supélec (2000) and a PhD from the Université de Paris-Sud (2003). Between 2003 and 2004, he carried out a post-doctorate at IRCCyN and two post-doctoral stays at the BSI laboratory, RIKEN in Japan and at the Department of Neuropsychiatry at Hartford Hospital/Yale University in the USA. Since 2009, he has been Professor at the Université de Technologie de Troyes. His research activities include statistical signal and image processing, information geometry and computer vision. He is responsible for the CapSec (Sensors for Security) platform. He is the author of over 300 articles in international peer-reviewed journals and conferences, and 10 patents. He is co-founder of the start-up Damavan Imaging (nuclear imaging). Since January 2021, he has been deputy director of the UR LIST3N at the Université de Technologie de Troyes.
