Description

Stéphan Kohler, 58, Arts et Métiers engineer and ESSA welding engineer, has been working in the production department of Liebherr France for 23 years. During this time, he has successfully completed several projects involving the automation and robotization of manufacturing processes for mechanically-welded components for crawler excavators made in Colmar. He leads and coordinates several groups of experts within the Group's earthmoving division on the themes of welding automation and robotization. In his role as deputy to the Production General Manager, and as part of the strategic development of the Colmar site, he leads exploratory actions to evaluate the technological building blocks of Industry 4.0 that could contribute to the transformation and improvement of manufacturing processes.
