The UHA is a university in the heart of the Three Frontier Region. The University sees it as a point of honour to develop close links with each of its students but also with its partners whether they be local or international. The surrounding economic environment is very important because it was industry that created the Université de Haute-Alsace.
The Université de Haute-Alsace operates 13 laboratories / centres spread over three research foci :
• Chemistry, Physics, Materials and Environment
• Humanities and Social Sciences
• Engineering Sciences.
These laboratories/centres inspire innovation and associated projects for the University and the region but also for many local, national, cross-border and international partners.
