The LPMT is a scarce research laboratory dédicated to Textiles and Fiber Science. Its skills are in the design of fibrous materials, the development of methods for characterization and obtaining fibrous structures, from the nanoscale to the macroscopic scale. The fiels of application are Textiles for Human, Textiles for structures and Textiles ans environment.
It has a strong interaction with the industrial environment in the context of research and services.
