Description
TIA Portal, Siemens' fully integrated automation platform, fully meets the industry's requirements for the convergence of information systems (IT) and operational technologies (OT). The V17 version offers an additional level of integration by taking into account new technologies such as Edge Computing. It also strengthens the cybersecurity of systems by encrypting exchanges via the TLS protocol. In addition, the platform, which has been enhanced with graphical programming tools, now offers subscription-based licensing for use in the Cloud or locally.
