Sustainable electronics manufacturing

Description

Aware of the urgency to implement a new competitive and sustainable model, Cordon Group reinforces the new dynamics of the French industry with its production centre in Alsace. We offer a full and scalable package of solutions: assembly of rigid and flexible SMT boards, tropicalisation, in situ and functional testing and assembly of product. Our mission: to ensure successful market launch at the best cost and sustainability of electronic products through our automation capabilities on all phases of your project. Together, we work towards the sustainability of electronic products by quickly directing these products into a process of refurbishment, reuse and recycling. Refurbished, new without new Is the device you are about to throw away really at the end of its life? We extend the life of your second-hand products through innovative solutions at every stage: buyback, diagnosis, refurbishment, distribution and customer service. Whether they are functional or not, we take back electronic products from consumers or companies directly or through a point of contact: single & multi-product buyback, company fleet, batches, destocking, unsold goods, etc. We develop turnkey solutions to support you in the recovery of these products. Experts in high-tech equipment, we develop quality refurbishment processes based on our manufacturer-approved repair processes. For each reconditioned product, our quality team carries out functional tests and cosmetic checks when it leaves our lines. Reuse, a new source of supply Are you faced with obsolescence or shortages of electronic components? Cordon Group sets up processes to manufacture, repair or refurbish your electronic products despite the disappearance or additional cost of components. We reduce the use of spare parts by reusing components from after-sales service returns, standard exchanges, equipment buyback, unsold products... all possible sources for recovering spare parts and thus remanufacturing or redesigning at an optimised cost and within a reasonable timeframe. Recycling, the new life of waste Why think better about the end of life of your electronic products? Beyond the benefits for the environment and the legal compliance obligations, recycling is both a waste treatment method and a resource production method. Elements that can no longer be reused are collected, sorted, dismantled, cleaned, massification, shredded and separated. The materials can then be used to produce new products. The challenge is to preserve the intrinsic qualities of the materials and their valuable characteristics as long as possible in order to maximise the number of cycles. Eco-design is part of this approach by choosing, from the beginning, the essential materials, the reparability offered and the robustness of your products
