BE 5.0 - SALON INDUSTRIES DU FUTUR MULHOUSE 2023

Interview with Nicolas Di Damaso, Timcod Est Branch Manager, and Gaël Maréchal, Regional Sales Manager, North Region

Timcod, France
As an integrator of IT solutions for all aspects of a company's supply chain, Timcod will be returning to Be 5.0 - Industries of the Future as an exhibitor for the third year running at the end of November. This long-standing relationship is no coincidence, given that the Mulhouse show "ticks all the right boxes" for the independent company, based in Nantes (1) and represented regionally by its Strasbourg-Entzheim branch.

"We had been looking for a long time for a show in Eastern France, between Germany on the one hand, with its wealth of offerings, and the traditional French strongholds of Paris and Lyon on the other, that had the profile we were looking for: a good regional dimension, highly operational contacts, and a focus on industry, our main field of activity. Several events didn't match this profile, being too generalist from our point of view. But for the Mulhouse show, that's definitely the case", explains Nicolas Di Damaso, director of the Timcod Est agency.

"Visitors come looking for advice, projects and answers to their problems. They're not just people on the lookout. Following previous editions, some prospects have become customers," says Gaël Maréchal, sales manager for the company's Northern Region.

On her stand, she won't be coming alone. It's making room for several partners. "That's the logic of our integrator profile: our offers are the result of tailor-made solutions based on different components: hardware, software, connectivity and services (audit, MCO...)" continues Gaël Maréchal. Two main partners will be accompanying Timcod to the 2023 edition of Be 5.0 - Industries of the Future.

Datalogic, a specialist in data acquisition and industrial automation, will be presenting its latest-generation terminals. Their high-performance read heads guarantee reliability, with the same reading quality at any distance, and adaptability to all media, such as barcode laser engraving.
On the other hand, Soti (diagnostic intelligence for minimizing downtime in mobile operations and maximizing return on investment) will be presenting its "Xsight" rapid decision-making tool. In warehouses, production halls, etc., it gathers and anticipates multiple types of information, such as the state of charge of batteries or the use of applications, for automated monitoring, advanced diagnostics and incident management. Soti will also be unveiling its associated gantry using RFID communication. It ensures that operator movement flows are relevant, to avoid, for example, loading errors on the shipping docks. "A good example of 5.0", sums up Nicolas Di Damaso. Timcod will also be holding a conference with Soti at the show, in response to the question "Why is analytical intelligence inevitable in the supply chain?".

The Timcod Est agency employs 5 people, and is one of seven in France. "This network enables us to maintain a 250 km radius of action, which is relevant for maintaining a local relationship, adapted to the culture of each territory and the profile of its economic fabric", Gaël Maréchal explains. The aim is to maintain what Timcod considers to be its main asset: the development of "tailor-made, individualized solutions, even within the same business sector".
